About searching for Superior Court cases

You can find many, but not all, cases using this search. The following cases are not available through this search tool.

• Adoption/Paternity, Juvenile Dependency and Mental Illness cases, or any other restricted cases.
• Cases filed before the court entered information in the Judicial Information System (JIS). Click here to find the dates a specific court began using JIS.
• Cases with a non-standard case number format (case number does not have 9 digits or 9 digits plus dashes). There are very few of these cases,and most of them are pre-1980 cases.
• Sealed cases.
